ORDINATION/MINISTRY TRAINING

The duties of today’s minister, whether performing weddings, conducting funerals, writing sermons, preaching, or managing the operations of a church, are rarely taught in secular schools. And the skills are so specific that it is possible to condense the critical skills for today’s minister and provide them in a fast-paced course that each student can complete at his or her own pace.
Such a course cannot replace the need for general studies in history, math, science, English, and other necessary courses to balance one’s education, but can be treated as one would an elective course of study.
The value of Grace Christian Family Center’s Ordination Program is that it covers all the practical areas of ministry. When a minister completes this course, he is prepared and qualified to conduct weddings, funerals, to establish a new church, or to take an existing one and manage it successfully.
Students who comply with all the requirements for the Ordination Program graduate and work under the canopy of an established body, but with no strings attached.
Students are not required to attend Grace Christian Family Center, since almost all study is done electronically or by mail. Students may, at their option, attend an ordination ceremony held at Grace Christian Family Center.
Students interact with Rev. Carpenter, either live in periodic classes at Grace, or by internet (preferred) or by phone conferences. An evaluation is required.

Not all applicants are accepted. Only students who feel they have a genuine calling from God into the ministry, and who are willing to train diligently, should apply.HOW DO YOU APPLY?

First step: By email or in writing, send a personal note to dcarpenter@graceistheplace.com. This goes to Rev. Carpenter privately. In your personal note, introduce yourself, your reason for believing you should go into the ministry, and include your phone number.

Second step: Rev. Carpenter will contact you after he reviews your personal introduction. You will either be invited to fill out an application, or you will be told “not at this time.”

Third step: If Rev. Carpenter invites you to apply for an intensive ordination study program, you will receive an application and complete details.

This is not an expensive course of study. But it is an exclusive one. And since you’ll be licensed under the canopy of Grace Christian Family Center and Rev. Carpenter, ONLY THE BEST ARE ADMITTED.
